Getting Started with TrarrenShot
TrarrenShot starts from a single capture flow: One Shot.
First Capture

Start One Shot
Start One Shot from the menu bar, or use the default shortcut if you have not changed it.

Choose what to capture
Drag to select a region, or press F for a fullscreen capture.

Edit the screenshot
The screenshot opens in the editor with annotation, OCR, and Scroll Capture tools.

Export
Use Copy, Save, or Share when the result is ready.

Editor Tools
- Screenshot Annotation: Rectangle, Circle, Line, Arrow, Text, Pen, Highlighter, Pixelate, Magnify, and Step.
- Scroll Capture: Select the area to capture, then click the Scroll Capture tool in the editor toolbar. Scroll the page or document yourself at a steady pace while TrarrenShot stitches the frames into one long image.
- OCR Text Recognition: In the editor, select the text area and click the OCR tool.
- Color Picker: During One Shot, move the pointer to a color and press C to copy its HEX value.

Recognition, stitching, annotation, and export preparation run locally on your Mac.
