What is TrarrenShot?

How do I start a capture?

Can I change the default One Shot shortcut?
Yes. The One Shot shortcut is configurable in TrarrenShot settings, so the default shortcut is not the only way to start capture.
How do I take a scroll capture?
Start One Shot from the menu bar, or use the default shortcut if you have not changed it. Capture a region, then use the Scroll Capture tool in the editor toolbar. Scroll the page or document at a steady pace while TrarrenShot stitches the frames into one long image.
Does TrarrenShot scroll pages for me?
No. You scroll manually while TrarrenShot automatically stitches the frames into a long screenshot.
What languages does OCR support?
OCR supports Auto, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian.
How do I use OCR?
In the editor, select the text area and click the OCR tool.
How do I hide sensitive information?
Use the pixelate tool in the editor to obscure sensitive parts of a screenshot.
How do I use the color picker?
During One Shot, move the pointer to a color and press C to copy its HEX value.
Does TrarrenShot need Screen Recording permission?
Yes. macOS requires Screen Recording permission for screenshot apps to capture screen content. TrarrenShot uses that system permission for capture access.
Is TrarrenShot free?
TrarrenShot can be used for core capture and editing workflows. Free use may include watermarks on pinned windows, edited images, and long screenshots.
What is included in Pro?
Pro is a $4.99 USD/year subscription. Pro features are available while the subscription is active, and any purchase includes lifetime watermark removal. If you only need watermark removal, you can subscribe and then turn off renewal in App Store subscription settings. Final subscription pricing may vary by region according to App Store pricing.
